Neighbor!

Kim Knaus is a remarkable community leader deeply rooted in San Bernardino. Kim’s journey has been a true hometown experience since her early school years to college. With unwavering dedication, Kim has championed our community, spearheading transformative initiatives that enhance our lives. She played a pivotal role in preserving the Verdemont Community Center, rekindling the magic of movie nights in our parks, and creating the city’s inaugural monthly food festival SB Foodfest, serving small businesses. Not one to shy away from hard work, Kim has rolled up her sleeves to restore neglected corners of our city, infusing new life into blighted areas.

Her capability spans legislative intricacies, federal and state funding, and skillful collaboration with diverse agencies to achieve tangible results for our neighborhoods.

Beyond her civic endeavors, Kim is a wife and mother. She has been married for ten years to her husband who serves as a Reservist for the United States Air Force. Together, they are raising their two children in our city. Her unwavering commitment stems from her deep love for her family, propelling her to work tirelessly for the betterment of every resident in San Bernardino.
